Summary
The Texas STEPS system will be unavailable from February 27-March 1, 2026, preventing access to state Medicaid provider enrollment and payment programs. Multiple critical enrollment deadlines follow immediately after the system comes back online.
Action Required
Before February 27, 2026: Complete all pending STEPS transactions and applications before 5 p.m. CST. By March 5, 2026: Submit enrollment applications for CHIRP, DPP BHS, RAPPS, and TIPPS programs immediately when STEPS Release 2 goes live on March 2. By March 18, 2026: Submit QIPP enrollment. By April 1, 2026: Submit Executive Order GA-46 enrollment. No extensions will be granted beyond these deadlines.
