Summary

Arkansas Medicaid now requires Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all home health services delivered in members' homes using approved mobile apps or IVR systems. Action Required

Before Nov 1, 2026
By November 1, 2026: Billing team and home health providers must implement EVV capture methods (approved mobile application or IVR) for all applicable home health services. Update billing workflows to ensure all claims include EVV-compliant documentation and remove reliance on manually entered or edited visit records. By December 1, 2026: All home health claims must be submitted with EVV compliance or face denial. Contact Provider Assistance Center at (800) 457-4454 or (501) 376-2211 with implementation questions. Failure to comply will result in payment delays beginning November 1 and claim denials beginning December 1.
