Immediately: Audiologists must use the Provider Online Service Center Hearing Aid Member Search function before providing hearing aid services. Enter member's 12-digit MassHealth ID to check 5-year history. If member received hearing aids in past 60 months, obtain prior authorization before proceeding. Access function via POSC > Manage Claims and Payments > Hearing Aid Member Search.
