Summary
MassHealth is discontinuing Tufts Health Together MCO and making major provider network changes effective January 1, 2026. 30 providers affecting approximately 20,000 members are moving between ACOs, and several hospitals are being added/removed from networks.
Action Required
By December 31, 2025: Billing team must verify all MassHealth patient plan assignments and update patient records with new ACO/MCO information. Contact MassHealth members currently with Tufts Health Together MCO to confirm their new plan assignment. Update billing system with new provider network affiliations and hospital network changes. Verify coverage and authorization requirements may differ under new ACOs.
