Summary
Maryland's nursing facility rates have been adjusted for FY 2026 based on case mix index as of March 31, 2025, effective July 1, 2025. The personal needs allowance increased to $106.00 per month per Medicaid participant, and Medicare coinsurance worksheets have been updated to reflect the new rates.
Action Required
Immediately: Nursing facility billing teams must download updated rate letters from Myers & Stauffer secure web portal and verify correct provider number. Update Medicare coinsurance calculations using the new worksheet available in the Nursing Facility Document Library for services on or after July 1, 2025.
