Summary
Evernorth Provider portal now allows unlimited file uploads (up to 500 MB total) with no page limits for pended claim attachments, replacing the previous 6-file, 384 MB, 999-page restrictions. The system now displays individual file upload status, allowing providers to resubmit only failed files instead of entire submissions.

Effective immediately (September 12, 2026): Billing team should update internal documentation and staff training to reflect new Evernorth portal capabilities. Update claim attachment submission procedures to take advantage of unlimited file uploads and individual file status tracking. Notify providers and billing staff that they can now upload files totaling up to 500 MB with no individual file size limits or page restrictions, and only resubmit files that fail to upload. No system changes required on the provider side, but staff should be trained on the new interface to maximize efficiency in resolving pended claims.
