Action Required

Action needed
By July 12, 2026: Billing and credentialing teams must update NCTracks enrollment records for any Innovations Waiver providers under Taxonomy 251S00000X to recognize Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) as a selectable accrediting body option. By August 23, 2026: Update enrollment records to reflect service changes including: (1) Remove 'Professional Treatment Services in Facility-Based Crisis Program - Child Service' and add 'Facility-based Crisis Service for Children & Adolescents'; (2) Require DHSR Mental Health Licensure (MHL) documentation for Psychosocial Rehabilitation services; (3) Ensure 'Professional Treatment Services in Facility-Based Crisis Program – Adult' has national accreditation documentation within one year of enrollment. Immediately: Verify which services your organization provides and confirm accreditation status requirements. Update enrollment checklists to flag services requiring accreditation within 12 months (1915i Community and Living Supports, 1915i Respite, 1915i Supported Employment, and Adult Facility-Based Crisis services). Contact NCTracks Call Center (800-688-6696) or Provider Ombudsman (866-304-7062) if your organization's current enrollment does not align with these changes. Failure to update accreditation status or maintain required licensure will result in enrollment suspension and claim denials.
