Summary

Priority Health is postponing its payment process transition to ECHO Health Inc. until January 1, 2027 (previously scheduled for an earlier date). Until December 31, 2026, all payments and remittance advices will continue through Priority Health's legacy system. Beginning January 1, 2027, all payments and RAs will be issued via ECHO. Providers must take action by specific enrollment deadlines to ensure uninterrupted EFT/ERA delivery and avoid unexpected payment method changes.

Action Required

Before Jan 1, 2027
REQUIREMENTS: By November 30, 2026 (DEADLINE for direct enrollment with Priority Health): - Billing team must enroll in EFT/ERA with Priority Health if not already enrolled to ensure automatic migration to ECHO. - ENROLLMENT DEADLINES BY DATA MIGRATION DATE: * By Early May 2026: Confirm enrollment with ECHO Card Services (833-202-5918). Data migration complete; expect confirmation letter or request for additional information. * By September 30, 2026: Enroll with Priority Health now. Data migration occurs in October; expect ECHO confirmation letter by early November. * By November 30, 2026: Last deadline to enroll directly with Priority Health. Data migration occurs in December; expect ECHO letter by end of year. - After November 30, 2026, all new enrollments MUST go through ECHO directly (not Priority Health). For Providers Currently Receiving Paper Checks: - Before January 1, 2027: OPTION 1 - Call ECHO Card Services (833-202-5918) anytime to opt out of virtual credit card (VCC) payments and request paper checks. - OPTION 2 - Providers enrolled by May 2026: Look for TIN-specific opt-out code in mail. Use code to opt out online at echovcards.com/letter before January 1, 2027. - OPTION 2 - Providers enrolled since May 2026: Expect TIN-specific opt-out code in early November. Use it to opt out online at echovcards.com/letter before January 1, 2027. - After January 1, 2027: If you receive a VCC payment, use payment information to opt out online at echovcards.com and request alternative payment method. For All Providers (Ongoing): - Reconcile dual payment sources during transition: Dates of service on/before December 31, 2026 will be paid via Priority Health legacy system; dates of service on/after January 1, 2027 will be paid via ECHO. - For up to 12 months after January 1, 2027, providers may receive payments and RAs from both Priority Health and ECHO systems via multiple payment methods depending on claim date of service and ECHO setup. - Billing team must update records to reflect payment source based on DOS: legacy system through 12/31/2026; ECHO system beginning 1/1/2027. - Monitor incoming mail from ECHO Card Services for enrollment confirmations, TIN-specific codes, and enrollment status updates per timeline above. - Contact ECHO Card Services (833-202-5918) to confirm EFT/ERA enrollment status at any time. CONSEQUENCES OF INACTION: - Failure to enroll in EFT/ERA by November 30, 2026 with Priority Health may result in non-automatic enrollment and potential payment delays or method changes in 2027. - Failure to opt out of VCC payments before January 1, 2027 (if paper checks are preferred) may result in receiving virtual credit card payments instead of paper checks after the transition. - Unenrolled providers must complete enrollment directly with ECHO after November 30, 2026, adding operational burden and potential gaps in payment coordination.
