Nevada Medicaid has ended its six-month moratorium on DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies) provider enrollments effective August 27, 2026. New DMEPOS enrollment applications submitted on or after August 28, 2026 will now be processed according to standard federal and state policies. This reopens the enrollment pathway for DMEPOS providers in Nevada who were previously unable to enroll during the moratorium period.

If your practice provides DMEPOS services or is considering adding DMEPOS to your service offerings in Nevada: (1) By August 28, 2026 and ongoing: Providers interested in enrolling as DMEPOS suppliers should submit enrollment applications to Nevada Medicaid following standard processing requirements. (2) Billing team should verify that any existing or new DMEPOS claims are processed according to current Nevada Medicaid DMEPOS policies. (3) For questions regarding DMEPOS enrollment, contact providerenrollment@nvha.nv.gov with subject line 'End of DMEPOS Moratorium.' Note: This policy change removes enrollment restrictions but does not change billing codes, rates, or documentation requirements for existing DMEPOS services.
