Summary
Texas Medicaid corrected erroneous reimbursement rates in the Standard Dollar Amount (SDA) Add-on spreadsheet that was initially published on September 1, 2026. Updated SDA rates are now available, and TMHP will automatically reprocess all claims with discharge dates on or after September 1, 2026, that were paid at the incorrect rates.

Immediately: Billing team must download and implement the corrected SDA Add-on spreadsheet from TMHP's Acute Care Hospital Reimbursement web page. Verify that claims submitted on or after September 1, 2026, are being reimbursed using the updated rates. No manual claim resubmission is required—TMHP will automatically reprocess previously paid claims. Monitor claim receipts for corrected payment amounts and reconcile any prior underpayments.
