Summary
Effective September 30, 2026, IHCP is streamlining rendering provider linkage by eliminating the requirement for Rendering Provider Agreement and Attestation Forms when linking already-enrolled rendering providers to groups or during revalidations. The form remains required only for new rendering provider enrollments and OPR-to-rendering provider conversions. This reduces administrative burden for existing provider networks.
Action Required
By September 30, 2026: Billing and credentialing teams must update internal processes and staff training to reflect that Rendering Provider Agreement and Attestation Forms are no longer required when adding existing (currently-enrolled) IHCP rendering providers to group enrollments or during revalidation transactions submitted via the IHCP Portal. Continue requiring the form only for new rendering provider enrollments and OPR-to-rendering provider conversions. For transactions submitted before September 30, 2026, continue following current requirements (forms still required). Update any internal checklists, enrollment workflows, and provider communication templates accordingly. Coordinate with providers on the simplified process to reduce unnecessary documentation submissions.
