Summary
Maryland Medicaid MCOs must transition their MOM (Maternity Obstetrical and Medical) benefit Care Coordination Module reporting from CRISP system to in-house systems by January 1, 2027. MCOs will submit monthly data extracts to MDH instead of entering data into CRISP.
Action Required
By October 1, 2026: MCOs must update and prepare in-house systems for testing to replace CRISP reporting for MOM benefits. By February 15, 2027: Submit first monthly extract covering January 2027 data to Hilltop via Secure File Transfer Protocol folders along with Outreach Attempt Log. Monthly extracts due by 15th of following month thereafter.
