Action Required
Every 90 days: Administrative staff must verify provider directory information using either the Provider Data Management feature in Availity Essentials or the Demographic Change Form. Update information with BCBSMT, CAQH Provider Data Portal, and National Provider Identifier Registry when changes occur. For removing providers from groups, use only the Demographic Change Form and select 'Remove Provider from Group/Location.' Ensure office staff have current information aligned with what's provided to BCBSMT.
