ForwardHealth updated CPT, HCPCS, and CDT procedure codes effective January 1, 2026 for Wisconsin Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus programs. Two HCPCS codes (G0511 and G0512) were discontinued for community health centers, and suspended claims from the delayed implementation are now being processed automatically.

Immediately: Community health centers must stop using HCPCS codes G0511 and G0512 for behavioral health services. Use CPT codes listed in ForwardHealth Online Handbook topics #22557 and #23217 instead. Refer to interactive fee schedules on ForwardHealth Portal for updated code information and maximum allowable fees. No action needed for suspended claims as they will process automatically.
