Before Oct 1, 2026
By September 30, 2026: Billing team must update all billing system rules and claim submission logic to discontinue use of CPT codes 80320-80377. Replace all definitive drug testing billing with appropriate G-series bundled laboratory codes in the billing software. Audit and update any standing orders, templates, or provider ordering workflows that reference the discontinued CPT codes. Notify all providers, lab staff, and relevant clinical personnel of the coding transition. Testing submitted on or after October 1, 2026 using CPT codes 80320-80377 will be denied by Ambetter Health Kentucky.
