Summary
BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina launched an enhanced provider enrollment portal (My Provider Enrollment Portal 2.0) on June 9, 2025, that replaces the previous enrollment process with a new electronic signature (e-sign) workflow. Billing and administrative teams must now ensure correct email addresses are entered for each role (Practitioner, Credentialing Contact, Fiduciary Contact) during enrollment, as this determines the e-signature routing. Applications that do not receive all required signatures within 21 days will be automatically canceled and must be restarted.
Action Required
Immediately: All staff responsible for provider enrollment must transition to the new My Provider Enrollment Portal 2.0 e-signature process. Verify that correct email addresses are entered in designated fields for Practitioner Credentialing Contact, Fiduciary Contact, and other required roles during all new and maintenance enrollment applications. Do NOT delete or ignore e-signature emails from JOSEPH PINEDA via Adobe Acrobat Sign (echosign@echosign.com) or other system notifications from noreply@salesforce.com/noreply.mypep@bcbssc.com—these are legitimate system communications, not spam or phishing. Reminder emails are sent every 7 days for up to 21 days; if signatures or required items are not submitted by day 21, the application will be canceled and must be resubmitted. Billing team must monitor enrollment workflows to prevent application cancellations due to missed deadlines. Review training materials on the portal and contact your Provider Relations Consultant with questions.
