Summary
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) extends the waiver of CCO enrollment limits through June 30, 2021. This waiver allows Coordinated Care Organizations to exceed county-level and grand total enrollment caps specified in their CCO 2.0 contracts. The waiver does not relieve CCOs of other enrollment-related requirements or Service Area restrictions.
Action Required
No action required for medical billing team. This policy is directed to Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) and their enrollment operations, not to individual healthcare provider billing practices. Billing teams should be aware this waiver may result in increased CCO membership in their service areas through June 30, 2021, but this does not change billing, coding, or claims submission procedures.
