Summary

Oregon Health Authority is consolidating two separate behavioral health reporting requirements for Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs). The 2023 Annual Behavioral Health Report will no longer be submitted as a standalone deliverable; instead, key metrics will be integrated into the Comprehensive Behavioral Health Plan (CBHP) due by 12/31/2023. A new CBHP reporting template will be provided by 10/2/2023 to accommodate the combined metrics.

Action Required

Action needed
By 10/2/2023: Billing and compliance teams should anticipate receipt of the updated 2023 CBHP reporting template from Oregon Health Authority. By 12/31/2023: CCOs and their contracted providers must submit the combined CBHP report (which now includes Annual BH Report metrics) using the new template. No separate Annual BH Report submission is required. Contact Cheryl Henning (Cheryl.L.Henning@oha.oregon.gov) for general contract questions or Nicholas Lervick (Nicholas.Lervick@oha.oregon.gov) for behavioral health reporting specifics. This change does not directly impact billing operations but may affect administrative reporting workflows for behavioral health services.
