Summary
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has replaced the standard 2025 Transformation and Quality Strategy (TQS) submission and review process with a simplified Attestation process for Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs). CCOs must now submit an Attestation confirming their TQS meets requirements rather than submitting the full plan for approval. The TQS Attestation form will be available by February 14, 2025, with a submission deadline of May 15, 2025. This is a contract administration change affecting Oregon Medicaid CCO relationships.
Action Required
This policy change does not directly impact medical billing workflows at healthcare practices. This is a contract-level administrative change between Oregon Health Authority and Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs). However, practices contracted with Oregon Medicaid CCOs should monitor whether their CCO communicates any resulting changes to provider requirements or quality reporting obligations. No billing code changes, prior authorization updates, or claim processing modifications are indicated. Practices do not need to take action on this policy.
