Summary
Oregon Medicaid (CCOs) must immediately resume normal processing of Planned Parenthood claims for dates of service July 8, 2025 forward, following a temporary restraining order. Claims for July 4-7, 2025 should continue to be held per the previous July 9 memo. This reverses a funding ban that was in effect for 4 days.
Action Required
Effective immediately (July 8, 2025 and forward): Billing team must resume processing all Planned Parenthood claims normally in the billing system without holds or denials. Continue to hold and process separately any claims with dates of service between July 4-7, 2025 per the July 9, 2025 OHA memo. Update any internal billing rules or system configurations that were implemented to block or hold Planned Parenthood claims. Notify relevant staff that the previous hold is lifted. For any claims from July 4-7, 2025 currently in queue, refer to the July 9, 2025 memo for specific handling instructions before releasing.
