REQUIREMENTS: Immediately establish a quarterly attestation schedule for all providers and staff with administrator access in Availity Essentials (essentials.availity.com). By the end of each calendar quarter: (1) Designate staff member(s) to log into Availity Essentials and access the Florida Blue Payer Space; (2) Complete the Directory Review process by reviewing all red-highlighted sections, confirming accuracy of provider information, and submitting attestation with required confirmations; (3) Update Communications topic with current phone number, fax, email, and administrator contact information; (4) Ensure practitioner medical license information is current; (5) Document completion date internally. Consequences of non-compliance: Providers will be automatically removed from Florida Blue online directories the following quarter, preventing patient discovery of in-network status and potentially impacting patient flow and revenue.
