Action Required
By November 16, 2026 (90 days from policy date): Front desk and administrative staff must verify all directory information in Availity® Essentials or submit a Demographic Change Form to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana. Repeat this verification process every 90 days thereafter. Ensure all staff members have access to current information to relay to members. For removing providers from a group, use the Demographic Change Form only (not Availity Essentials) and select 'Remove Provider from Group/Location' as the change type. Update centralized office systems to align with submitted directory data. Failure to maintain accurate directory information may result in members unable to locate your practice or reach your services.
