Summary
Starting September 25, 2025, the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) Provider Portal will display level of care assessment types (long term or short term) with effective dates for PathWays members who have nursing facility level of care segments. This is an informational system update that enhances visibility of member care status in the provider portal.
Action Required
By September 25, 2025: Billing team should familiarize themselves with the updated Institutional Level of Care and Hospice panel in the IHCP Portal. Review the new display format for level of care assessment types when verifying benefits for PathWays members with nursing facility level of care segments.
