Summary
Aetna Better Health of Virginia is notifying providers that they did not complete enrollment for 23-hour crisis stabilization services by the December 2, 2024 deadline. Providers who failed to enroll are now ineligible to offer or bill for this service effective February 10, 2025. Aetna is removing ineligible providers from the network and transitioning affected members to licensed providers.

If not enrolled by the December 2, 2024 deadline, immediately stop billing for 23-hour crisis stabilization services to Aetna Better Health of Virginia, as claims will be denied and no reimbursement will be provided until enrollment is completed and approved.
