Immediately: Billing team should verify that claims processing systems are correctly applying Medicare facility practice expense RVUs and Medicare place-of-service codes (02, 19, 21-24, 26, 31, 34, 41-42, 51-53, 56, 61) for applicable claims. Review any denied claims from April 1, 2024 forward that may need reprocessing under the updated site-of-service adjustment policies.
