Summary
Indiana Medicaid has identified and fixed an issue with National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits that had incorrect end dates in their system. Claims with service dates from October 1, 2025 forward will be automatically reprocessed or adjusted, with providers seeing these corrections on remittance advices starting May 13, 2026.
Action Required
Starting May 13, 2026: Billing team should monitor remittance advices for mass adjustments and reprocessed claims with ICNs beginning with 52 (mass replacements) or 80 (reprocessed denied claims). No action required from providers - Indiana Medicaid will automatically adjust affected claims with dates of service October 1, 2025 and after.
