Summary
The UnitedHealth Partners Program Gaps in Care Management Application (CGMA) system will undergo a scheduled update with specific submission deadlines for 2022 care gap data (Dec 31 and Jan 15) and a temporary closure from Jan 16–Mar 5 for 2023 system launch. The 2023 CGMA with updated care gaps and member rosters will be available March 6, 2023. Billing teams must submit any outstanding 2022 care gap and service event information by the stated deadlines or lose the opportunity to submit historical data.
Action Required
By December 31, 2022 (11:59 p.m. EST): Billing and care coordination teams must complete submission of all 2022 care gap and service event information to the CGMA system. By January 15, 2023 (11:59 p.m. EST): Submit any reopened or rejected 2022 care gap and service event information. From January 16 through March 5, 2023: Do not attempt to access the CGMA—the system will be unavailable. Plan accordingly for system downtime. On March 6, 2023: Access the updated 2023 CGMA starting at 8 a.m. EST to view 2023 care gaps, member rosters, and updated membership through January 31, 2023. Update internal calendars and communication to providers and staff about these critical deadlines and system closure window. Failure to submit by the Jan 15 deadline will result in loss of ability to submit 2022 care gap data.
