Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) now accepts either personal services agency licenses OR home health agency licenses for HCBS waiver providers offering Attendant Care and Home Community Assistance services. This reverses a previous requirement that mandated only personal services agency licenses for these providers.
Action Required
Immediately: Providers offering HCBS waiver services (Attendant Care codes A05, B04, F05 and Home Community Assistance codes A11, B11, F19) should verify their current license type is accepted. If enrollment or recertification is needed, either a personal services agency license or home health agency license can be submitted through the IHCP Portal. Ensure license documentation remains current and unexpired.
