Summary
IHCP identified and fixed a mapping issue where claims with multiple Medicare payers weren't processing correctly when detail-level copayments were reported. The system will automatically mass adjust or reprocess affected claims from June 10, 2024 forward, with providers seeing these adjustments on remittance advices starting June 10, 2026.
Action Required
Starting June 10, 2026: Monitor remittance advices for mass adjusted or reprocessed claims with ICNs/Claim IDs beginning with 52 (mass replacements non-check-related) or 80 (reprocessed denied claims). No action required from billing team as IHCP will automatically adjust affected claims with multiple Medicare payers from June 10, 2024 forward.
