Summary
Effective October 1, 2026, Blue Cross VT is updating the community fee schedule for medications administered or supplied in a provider's office (MD Rx) and Community Home Infusion Therapy services. The billing team must obtain the updated fee schedule from provider relations to ensure accurate reimbursement rates are applied to claims submitted on or after the effective date.
Action Required
By October 1, 2026: Billing team must contact Blue Cross VT provider relations team by email (providerrelations@bcbsvt.com) or phone (888) 449-0443 option 1 to request the updated MD Rx and Community Home Infusion Therapy fee schedule. Include your practice's billing NPI number(s) in the request. Once received, update your billing system with the new fee schedule rates to ensure claims for medications administered/supplied in-office and home infusion therapy services submitted on or after October 1, 2026 are billed at correct rates. Verify that all staff responsible for claims submission are aware of the rate changes. Failure to update fee schedules may result in underbilling or claim rejections.
