Summary
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield's Commercial Risk Adjustment SOAP Note Incentive Program, administered by ComplexCare Solutions, will end on August 31, 2026. Providers will no longer receive incentive payments for SOAP notes submitted after this date. SOAP notes received on or before August 31, 2026, will be processed and paid according to current methodology; no action is required from providers regarding member care.
Action Required
By August 31, 2026: Billing team should verify all outstanding SOAP notes submitted to the Converged Patient Assessment portal (formerly ePASS) are received and processed before the deadline to ensure incentive payment eligibility. Providers should be notified that the incentive program concludes after this date. Update internal documentation and revenue tracking systems to remove ComplexCare Solutions SOAP note incentive projections from September 2026 forward.
