Texas Medicaid·TX·General
Effective date
Sep 1, 2026
We identified it
Aug 1, 2026
Summary
TMHP has rescheduled the EDI connectivity transition from August 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026. Batch submitters must complete mandatory trading partner testing and migrate from VPN to SFTP connectivity by August 31, 2026, or lose EDI submission access and experience claims reimbursement delays starting September 1, 2026. This change applies only to batch submitters; real-time submitters are unaffected.
Action Required
By August 31, 2026: Billing team must complete mandatory trading partner testing for all batch submitter IDs and migrate to the SFTP connectivity method on the TMHP production platform. Confirm with IT/systems team that VPN access is transitioned to SFTP before the deadline. Contact ediconnectivitysupport@tmhp.com with any testing issues. Failure to complete testing and migration will result in loss of EDI submission capability and claims reimbursement delays on September 1, 2026 when all VPN connectivity is disabled. Review the updated EDI Connectivity Guide at tmhp.com and watch the New Electronic Data Interchange Batch Submission Webinar on the TMHP YouTube channel for implementation details. Call TMHP Contact Center at 800-925-9126 for additional support.
