The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) is offering free Healthy Connections Medicaid provider training opportunities from August through October 2026. In-person workshops have transitioned back from virtual to in-person format at the BlueCross BlueShield South Carolina-Government Programs Complex in Columbia, SC, covering topics including Medicaid basics, web-based claims submission tools, claim-level adjustments, TPL processes, ORP enrollment requirements, and managed care enrollment.

However, billing teams and providers may choose to attend relevant trainings: (1) Register for in-person workshops (Medicaid Basics, Comprehensive Web Tool, Claim-level Adjustments/TPL) at www.medicaidelearning.com or by calling the Provider Service Center at (888) 289-0709; (2) Register for virtual ORP Enrollment training by contacting the PSC; (3) Register for Maximus Managed Care Enrollment webinars by emailing providertrainings@maximus.com or calling Michelle LeMoine at (803) 834-9956. Recommended attendees include billing agents, providers, and front-desk staff involved with Healthy Connections Medicaid claims processing, eligibility verification, and member enrollment assistance. Sessions begin August 4, 2026.
