Summary

All new contracting physicians, practitioners, and other providers must complete required onboarding training and submit attestations through an online form to avoid delays in contract activation.

Action Required

Before Aug 1, 2026
By July 31, 2026: Billing team and credentialing staff must ensure all new Medi-Cal providers are aware of the online attestation requirement. Before onboarding any new providers after August 1, 2026: (1) Confirm providers complete the required onboarding training through Health Net's provider portal; (2) Direct providers to submit attestations using the online form at Health Net (access via Provider Training Webinars → New Providers Onboarding Materials → Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley Medi-Cal New Provider Resources → Attestation of New Provider Training); (3) Maintain records of online attestation submissions in credentialing files; (4) Do not accept or process any paper attestations after August 1, 2026. Failure to submit online attestations will result in delays in Medi-Cal contract activation.
