Summary
The 2026 HCPCS procedure code updates are now available for Texas Medicaid providers, effective January 1, 2026. Deleted procedure codes are no longer covered benefits, and reimbursement rates will be announced after HHSC rate hearings with affected claims being reprocessed.

Immediately: Billing team must access the 2026 HCPCS code updates on tmhp.com Rate and Code Updates page. Review deleted codes that are no longer covered benefits for Texas Medicaid and CSHCN Services Program. Update billing system to remove deleted codes before January 1, 2026. Monitor for rate hearing announcements and implementation dates. Update provider manuals will be available in March 2026 release.
