Summary

Texas HHSC has released an updated July 2026 NDC-to-HCPCS Crosswalk for clinician-administered drugs (CAD). This quarterly update provides the current mapping between National Drug Codes and Medicaid-reimbursable HCPCS codes. Billing teams must access the updated crosswalk to ensure accurate claim submission with correct HCPCS coding.

Action Required

Action needed
Immediately upon publication (July 23, 2026): Billing team and prescribing providers must download and review the updated NDC-to-HCPCS Crosswalk from the HHSC Vendor Drug Program Data Files web page. Access either the text or Excel file format. Use the CAD Search tool or crosswalk document to verify correct HCPCS code assignment for all clinician-administered drug claims before submission to Texas Medicaid. Update any internal drug-to-code mapping references used in billing workflows. Providers should review the quarterly changes to prevent claim denials due to incorrect or outdated HCPCS code assignment. Contact vdp-cad@hhsc.state.tx.us with questions. Failure to use the current crosswalk will result in claim rejections and payment delays for CAD services.
