Action Required

Action needed
Immediately: Billing team and all clinical staff must register for access to the Critical Incident Management System (CIMS) through HHSC's IAMOnline portal. Review Information Letters 2026-19 and 2026-21 for complete transition guidance and system requirements. Designate staff to complete available training through the learning portal (available at HHSCCIMSSupport@deloitte.com or 866-898-5022). Update internal workflows and documentation procedures to align with CIMS requirements. Contact MCS_CIMS@hhs.texas.gov with program-specific questions and Enterprise Service Desk (512-438-4720 or 855-435-7181) for portal access issues. Failure to implement CIMS may result in inability to report critical incidents as required by Texas regulations.
