Summary
Maryland Medicaid is launching a new provider enrollment system called MPRIME (Maryland Provider Registration and Information Management Enterprise) in October 2026. All Maryland providers must complete training sessions to learn how to use the new system for provider registration, enrollment applications, updates, and re-validation processes. Training sessions are being offered now with prerecorded versions available closer to launch.
Action Required
Before October 2026 MPRIME launch: Assign appropriate staff members to register for and complete MPRIME training sessions using the MPRIME System Training Registration Form. Providers can attend live training sessions or view prerecorded versions posted to the MPRIME webpage. Ensure staff understand the four training topics: MPRIME functionality and provider registration, submitting new enrollment applications, submitting update applications, and navigating the re-validation process. Review additional resources on the MPRIME – New Provider Enrollment Portal website including enrollment tutorials, recorded trainings, provider resources, and the provider enrollment checklist. Contact mdh.mprimegolive@maryland.gov with questions. Failure to complete training and transition to MPRIME could result in inability to submit provider enrollment and re-validation documents to Maryland Medicaid.
