Summary

By October 1, 2026: Billing and credentialing teams must verify that all organizational providers enrolled with taxonomy 251S00000X (251S00000X providers) have at least one active SERVICE-TYPE (column AE) and SERVICE (column AF) selected in the Provider Permission Matrix (PPM). Required actions: (1) Audit current provider enrollments in NCTracks to identify any 251S00000X providers with no services selected; (2) Monitor NCTracks website for new service options expected in early August 2026 that do not require national accreditation; (3) For affected providers, submit a Manage Change Request in NCTracks to add appropriate services before October 1, 2026; (4) Document all service additions in the billing system. Consequences of inaction: Providers who do not add at least one service by the deadline will experience termination of their 251S00000X taxonomy and potentially their entire service location and provider record, resulting in inability to bill under that enrollment.
