Summary

Point32Health (Tufts Health One Care) requires all providers and office staff serving Medicare-Medicaid dual eligible (One Care) members to complete mandatory compliance training consisting of two tracks: a general MassHealth training series via UMass Medical School (8 required webinars plus optional modules) and a plan-specific Tufts Health One Care training. Completion and attestation must be submitted to EOHHS and CMS for regulatory compliance. This is a regulatory mandate from EOHHS and CMS with no grace period specified.

Action Required

Action needed
IMMEDIATELY: All providers and office billing/clinical staff serving One Care (dual eligible) members must complete mandatory training compliance. ACTION STEPS: (1) Designate a compliance coordinator to track training completion for all staff; (2) Direct all affected providers and staff to access Point32Health Training portal and complete both Track 1 (8 required MassHealth webinars: Basics of One Care, Engaging Enrollees in Assessments & Care Planning, ADA Compliance, Cross-Cultural Competence, Wellness for People with Disabilities, Contemporary Models of Disability, Co-Occurring Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders, Homeless Individual Care) and Track 2 (Tufts Health One Care plan-specific training); (3) Ensure all staff complete the attestation form upon training conclusion; (4) Point32Health will automatically submit participation records to EOHHS and CMS; (5) Create internal tracking spreadsheet documenting completion dates for all staff by name and role. CONSEQUENCE: Failure to complete training may result in compliance violations reported to EOHHS/CMS, potential sanctions, and loss of authorization to bill One Care members.
