Billing and administrative staff must: (1) Use EXACT subject line formats—'APPXXXXXX-AK' for new applications, 'PID#######-Revalidation' for revalidations, 'PID#######-Update' for changes; (2) Include all required supporting documentation as attachments in every email; (3) Submit only ONE application/revalidation per email and ONE change request per Medicaid Provider ID; (4) Never use encrypted emails; (5) Consider using DocuSign electronic submission via Alaska Medicaid Provider Resources or mailing to PO Box 240808, Anchorage, AK 99524 for sensitive information instead of regular email. Create a checklist or email template for staff to verify subject line format and attachment presence before sending. Train all staff submitting to Alaska Medicaid enrollment on these requirements.
