Summary
Virginia now requires all contract notices to UnitedHealthcare be sent electronically to a new dedicated email address (UHN_Contract_Notice@uhc.com) starting January 1, 2026. This replaces previous methods of delivering contracts, amendments, and participation agreement notices.
Action Required
By January 1, 2026: Virginia providers must update their contract notice procedures to send all UnitedHealthcare participation agreement notices, contracts, and amendments electronically to UHN_Contract_Notice@uhc.com instead of previous delivery methods. Administrative staff should update contact databases and notification procedures.
