Summary
This policy consolidates multiple Long-Term Care Regulation credentialing phone numbers into a single centralized line (512-438-5800) effective July 1, 2026. Old numbers for MA, NATCEP, and NFA programs will be phased out by November 1, 2026. This affects practices that credential nursing aides, medication aides, nurse aide training programs, and nursing facility administrators.
Action Required
By July 1, 2026: Update all internal contact lists, provider directories, and documentation systems to reflect the new centralized credentialing phone number 512-438-5800. By November 1, 2026: Remove or retire the old phone numbers (512-438-2025, 512-438-2017, 512-438-2015) from all systems, forms, and communications. Front desk and administrative staff should update call routing and phone trees accordingly. This change does not impact billing workflows or claim submission processes.
