Action Required

Action needed
DEADLINE: Establish and maintain a 90-day attestation schedule for all Ohio Anthem Medicaid provider profiles. ACTION ITEMS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE/BILLING STAFF: (1) Log into https://Availity.com and navigate to My Providers > Provider Data Management; (2) Verify all provider demographic information is current and accurate in the system; (3) Submit verified profiles by selecting 'Submit Verified Profile' or use 'Quick Verify' button if no changes exist; (4) Document attestation completion dates and set calendar reminders for 90-day recurrence; (5) Ensure organization administrators have granted PDM access to all staff responsible for provider data maintenance; (6) For behavioral health providers assigned to Carelon Behavioral Health, follow Carelon's attestation process instead; (7) For CAQH care providers, attest through the CAQH website. CONSEQUENCES: Providers who fail to complete 90-day attestation will be classified as noncompliant with health plan policies and procedures, resulting in removal from the online provider directory and potential loss of ability to serve Anthem Medicaid enrollees. SUPPORT: Contact Availity Client Services at 800-282-4548 (800-AVAILITY) with registration or access questions, or use Availity Chat with Payer during business hours for additional support.
