Billing team should be aware that if staff experience errors when accessing BCBS authorization tools or systems, they should first attempt troubleshooting by clearing browser cache (Google Chrome: Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows; Microsoft Edge: Alt+F > Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data, selecting 'All time' and checking 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'), logging out completely, and logging back in before contacting technical support. This should be communicated to all staff who access BCBS portals.
