Summary
Astrana Health is transitioning to a new Utilization Management system effective July 1, 2026. During this transition, providers may continue submitting authorization requests via fax or telephone with no anticipated interruption to UM review operations. Training for the new provider portal will be shared separately.

By June 30, 2026: Billing and authorization teams should prepare for the UM system transition by: (1) Noting the new provider portal URL (https://provider-portal.astranahealth.com/login) for future use; (2) Maintaining current fax and telephone authorization submission processes through the transition period; (3) Monitoring for separate training communications regarding the new portal; (4) Updating staff contact information to reflect Astrana Health's member and provider services line (866-778-6217 toll-free or 401-406-7229 local). No immediate billing workflow changes are required, but teams should be prepared to adopt the new portal once training is available.
