Action Required
By June 26, 2026: Hospital billing and enrollment staff who use the Nevada Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility Portal must become familiar with the new aid code 'AO' option in the 'Presumptive Eligibility Aid Code' dropdown menu. No income or resource verification is required for this eligibility category. Staff should refer PE eligibility questions to nvhaee@nvha.nv.gov and portal technical issues to nswdhelp@dss.nv.gov. This change does not require billing software updates or claim submission modifications.
