Summary
Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) corrected an underpayment issue affecting EIDBI service codes H0046 UB (Travel Time) and H0032 UB (Individual Treatment Planning and Progress Monitoring) for claims billed March 25–April 28, 2026. Reimbursement rates are now correct as of April 29, 2026. Providers with impacted claims can request DHS reprocessing or submit replacement claims.
Action Required
By May 31, 2026: Billing team must identify and reconcile all claims for H0046 UB and H0032 UB billed between March 25, 2026 and April 28, 2026 that were underpaid. Either request DHS reprocessing of affected claims or submit replacement claims for the underpaid amounts. Contact MHCP Provider Resource Center at 651-431-2700 or 800-366-5411 with questions. Document all underpayment corrections in accounting records for reconciliation purposes. Failure to act may result in permanent loss of reimbursement for underpaid services.
