MVP Insurance has begun participating with CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) as of July 1, 2025. Credentialed providers must now respond to CAQH notifications from MVP to review and verify their demographic and professional information in the CAQH Provider Data Portal. Behavioral health providers should include detailed credentials, specialties, and patient populations to ensure accurate member matching.

By July 31, 2025: All credentialed providers must monitor for CAQH notifications from MVP and promptly complete verification of demographic and professional information in the CAQH Provider Data Portal. Billing team should ensure all providers in the practice are aware of this requirement. Behavioral health providers must update their provider profiles to include detailed information on special skills, training, patient age groups, special populations, issues treated, and therapy types. Failure to respond to CAQH verification requests may result in inaccurate provider directories and potential claim processing delays.
