Summary
MVP has partnered with CAQH to allow credentialed providers to verify and attest their demographic data through the CAQH Provider Data Portal, effective July 15, 2025. Providers are contractually required to review and attest to the accuracy of their information in the Provider Directory at least every 90 days. Registered and delegated credentialed providers should continue updating CAQH applications directly, as MVP will not access their data during the initial launch.
Action Required
By October 15, 2025 (90 days from July 15): Ensure all credentialed providers complete their initial demographic data verification and attestation through the CAQH Provider Data Portal. Billing and credentialing teams should communicate this requirement to in-network providers and establish a tracking process to monitor attestation compliance. Providers must complete this review every 90 days thereafter. Registered and delegated credentialed providers should NOT use the CAQH portal integration and must continue updating their CAQH applications directly. Failure to attest demographic data may result in directory inaccuracies, claim denials, or contract compliance issues.
